Fixing wlan0 on RPI 3 : raspberry_pi - reddit

pi 3 - wlan0: Could not connect to kernel driver

Failed to create interface mon.wlan0. nl80211 driver initialization failed. wlan0: Unable to setup interface. I browsed the archives & searched the web, I've also strace'd and ran hodtapd under gdb, but that did not help. Any idea of what's going on ? (I suspect I miss something, but..)
